Dylan Kain aims to tread lightly. We’re building a brand that intends to leave the world a better place than we found it, and this mission extends beyond just our products.
We try to avoid excess packaging; minimizing where possible, whilst still ensuring that your goods are protected and well-supported during transit to avoid damage. Products are protected with acid-free tissue paper and recycled cardboard and safely stored inside an Eco Bag.
We have integrated environmentally friendly alternatives across our packaging collection. All packaging components are able to be either recycled or will biodegrade or compost.
To be completely transparent, we have outlined all packaging details and the best option for deposal below.
- Tissue Paper - 100% FSC certified, made from Recycled materials, and is fully Compostable. Learn more
- Recycled Cardboard - made from recycled materials and is fully compostable. (will compost best when torn into small pieces and dampen with water).
- Eco Bag - made from Hydro-pol, these bags are a great alternative to plastic. They really do it all... they are biodegradable, home & industry compostable, recyclable, marine friendly, and can be dissolved in hot water for immediate disposal. Chose a method that suits you :) Learn more
- Postal Boxes - produced from a minimum of 80% post-consumer Waste. Postal boxes are 100% recyclable and biodegradable. Learn more
- Gift Boxes - made from recycled materials and is biodegradable.
- Tags and cards - made from recycled materials and is biodegradable.
- Dust Bags - We select a thick quality twill fabrication for our dust bags that are designed to last. Store your leather goods inside the dust bag to protect the longevity of your accessory.
- Shop Bags - made from recycled materials and they are biodegradable.
- Plastic Film - We reduce the use of plastic as much as possible. We use a very small amount of plastic film on our hardware to protect it from swatches during transit. Please keep the plastic film inside the dust bag provided and re-apply it to your hardware when your bag is being stored.
